Lavender lips are very trendy right now and I am going to show you quickly how you can custom blend and tweak Lip Tars by Obsessive Compulsive Cosmetics to make the perfect shade of lavender that works with your skin tone.
I started with some Feather [white], Katricia [purple], and Pageant [pink].
and mix it all up.
I came out with this gorgeous and opaque pale purple with a kiss of pink.
As gorgeous as the color is, it did not work with my skin tone.
So, I added a pin prick of black and mixed well.
Much better!
I am fickle and decided that I didn't want to wear purple at all. I just took a touch of Feather [white] mixed with a hint of Traffic [yellow] and smooshed it directly onto my lips and...
voila! A gorgeous nude pink color.
It is wondrous what you can do with Lip Tars!

The Lip Tars are fantastic. Definitely for the person who actually wants to mix their own colours rather than buy them ready-made.
I know purple lips wouldn't look good on me, so it's definitely not a trend I would ever embrace! I did love the colour at the end though, that was gorgeous!
every single time i see you swatch these or use them in a video, i fall in love with them a little bit more. i need to buy them. now.
also, weird comment, but whenever you take pictures of your lips, you have this sneer almost and it just makes me think "this girl = freaking fabulous." think of it as snobby in a good way, not in the latest-youtube-drama-causing way :D
