Not a Tutorial but Inspired Nonetheless

This is amazing Jude! The only thing I dislike about it is I think the red is a bit too dominant, while it is not so in the original painting. However, I love the way you used a cut crease and harsher lines to parallel the very simplistic and straightforward nature of the painting.

This is fantastic. I love the harsh, bold strokes under the eye - that minute detail evokes the painting so well. I wish we could see a full face shot :)

love the structural aspect esp the lower liner, the upper liner I think I would have liked better drawn out more and for fun, you could have put a red dot a la geisha makeup in there.

I seriously love this one. Look forward to many more ;~)
