In Search of a Little Inspo

The days following July 4th weekend have been pretty hectic so my makeup routine has been pretty light. Today I figured that since I am walking around with a garden on my head [courtesy of Urban Outfitters], a little color on my eyes and some snappy lipstick would be a nice change from the hollow eyed and haggard look I have been sporting.

I am working Pagaent Lip Tar by Obsessive Compulsive Cosmetics on my cheeks with some Petticoat MSF along the upper portion of my cheek bones for a little highlighting action. Since discovering OCC Lip Tars, I have used them in som fashion almost every single day. I don't even use my regular blushes and cream blushes. It is all about the Tars!

On my eyes I am wearing a simple sweep of Auric loose color shadow by Obsessive Compulsive Cosmetics. Auric has been my most used color of the season. It is the perferct shade of gold and is completely versatile. It can be worn as I have chosen; subtle and sheer or played up for something more dramatic.

I am also wearing one of my favorite lipsticks; Chloe by NYX. Not only is it the perfect hot pink, the lipstick lasts amazingly well for a product that I paid a little over a dollar for.

Hope I'm not the only one who knows who Dorothy Lamour was - but Jude you look so beautiful with your hair back and the flower. You remind me of Ms. Lamour for all the world. By the by, I am now an OC addict thanks to you.
