Playing with Texture

I changed up my hair just in time for the Long Island humidity to hit. I am not quite sure how I feel about it yet. I am so used to having a ton of dense volume and this swinging thing that my hair keeps doing just feels so different. I am also in desperate need of some smoothing serum because my curly girl layers are making the over all look a little choppy. All that kvetching aside, it is fun to play and change things up!

Love your curls but you can definitely pull this off too! So cute on you! My curly hair doesn't look so pretty when its straight, probably cause its so thin :(

You look hot girl!!! Love it! I was wondering what happened to you. You've been gone too long!
I have curly hair too but I hate blowing out my hair so I only rock the straight hair look when I go get my hair "done"

Your hair looks absolutely GORGEOUS like that!!

From one curly head to another...the best smoothing-stuff-that-doesn't-make-your-hair-look-all-greasy is Biosilk Silk Therapy. Expensive...but lasts forever and is TOTALLY worth it.

I love your hair cut! Try Moroccan oil styling cream or just the oil itself. I works wonders on your hair it's been featured in quite a few magazines this summer I love the way it smells as well.(=

You're beautiful curly or straight. Change is good: enjoy the difference!

FYI: Any silicone based face primer will also work wonders as a hair smoothing serum. I made the discovery as a desperation move during an underpacked trip and have used it since!

Thanks everyone for the comments on my hair. Would you believe that I have not had a haircut for five weeks now. This was the cut that was lurking under all those curls. :D
