Solo parenting is nothing new, but being a single mom seems to be one of the latest thing in promoting a star's career. Many celebrities have adopted the children without partners or after the breakups of their well-publicized and long-term relationships.

Meg Ryan is one of the celebrity moms who has adopted a 14-month-old girl from China named Daisy True in 2006. In addition to her little girl, Daisy, Meg Ryan is also mom of 18-year-old Jack Henry, her son with ex-husband Dennis Quaid.

Margaret Mary Emily Anne Hyra, professionally known as Meg Ryan, is an American actress as well as a producer. She is known for her romantic comedy love stories that all come with the classic happy ending. But in real life, Ryan found that it is more difficult to balance life as a working wife and mom as well.

Meg adopted Daisy in January 2006, but within a few months, she told Redbook that Daisy was  the perfect match for her little family. According to her, Daisy is the daughter she should have. “As mysterious and magical as it is to have a baby you gave birth to, I have that exact same thing with Daisy”, she said.

Dennis Quaid, Ryan's ex-husband, has even said that Ryan is a great mom, mentioning to her as nurturing, caring, and loving. Undoubtedly, she will make a wonderful new mom with lots of love to give.

Like mother, like daughter! Meg Ryan and her 6-year-old tot Daisy are so close that they dress alike. So it looks like Hollywood has one more super-close mom and daughter duo to add to its list of super moms. Today, following her high profile divorce, Ryan has been working to find more balance in her life life with son Jack Henry and daughter, Daisy True.
