Sheryl Crow is an American singer, songwriter, musician, record producer as well as an actress. She is one of those many single celebrity moms. She is also renowned as one of the single ladies who are doing it on their own. Sheryl has won 9 Grammy Awards for her music, which include hits like 'If It Makes You Happy' and 'All I Wanna Do'.
On May 11, 2007, Crow adopted a two-week-old boy named Wyatt Steven Crow. Wyatt was born on April 29, 2007. She adopted her second child named Levi James Crow on June 4, 2010 who was born on April 30, 2010.
For Sheryl, the life before she adopted a child and the life after adopting a child, both are very different things. In an interview given to Elle magazine, Crow explained how her son Wyatt Steven has altered her life. His happiness is her priority.
When it comes to parenting, Sheryl is not all about having fun. While the single mom has a happy family life, Crow admits that raising two children on her own has its challenges. She says, “I never thought I’d be raising a boy by myself”.
According to Crow, it has been the most incredible experience. She has said that adopting is the best thing she's ever done. She says, “If you're a woman with a big career and no husband, then you don't have to not have a family. You just have to do it differently. You have to create your experience of life.”
Sheryl Crown is now celebrating the new priorities as a mom. She thinks that she is a 'strict' mom. As a mom of two children, children's issues are very important for her. Due to this, she attended Healthy Child Healthy World gala in Beverly Hills the other night, and showed her support to the nonprofit organization. Sheryl Crow is certainly an idealistic mom!
