Hungry yourself and going to gym like a maniac, but still way away from results? How much will you love if someone say you may actually have to eat more to lose weight?
If you think that eating less will result in weight loss then you are simply wrong. It’s time to hit the buffet… well, not quite, but kind of.
Have a breakfast, snack, lunch, snack dinner and even snack after dinner. If you are going to gym daily and following mentioned eating habits then you will certainly loose weight.
Eating regularly becomes your habit and 5 years down the line you will feel happy to say that, unlike most other people who boomerang back and sometimes beyond their start weight.
But what if you have already sensibly lost weight but are 5 or 10 kilos from your goal and can’t seem to lose anymore? Well, there is a solution for you too. Eat more. If you are working out a lot, then you might not be eating enough calories to permit your body to go into fat burning mode.
When energy is constrained, appetite is condensed and both non-exercise and exercise energy expenditure is abridged. This causes an expected metabolic down turn from reduced thyroid hormone activity, so you’ll retain fat stores. If you have not lost weight for some time while restricting calories you will most likely need to boost calories or re-feed to overcome this plateau.
The truth is that healthy and permanent weight loss takes time, commitment and common sense. But if you do it correctly, you would be happy for the rest of your life.
