Parenting is a privilege that covers several significant moments; the sound of baby, watching baby move slowly, first smile, walk and toddle and reading that particular book cuddled together in bed.
In two-parent families, the work is shared as parents struggle to discuss their different individual styles, histories, and outlook on child rearing to become a solid parenting team. This is a tough task, but if achieved, the payoff is fantastic as each parent has the other as a partner and security net. If mom is ill, then dad can take care of child. In two-parent families there is a lot of flexibility because mom and dad are both available to take care of a child. If you are a single mother then life becomes very hard and you will certainly face lot of problems while taking care of the child. If you are a single, then you have to do lot of work which includes taking them to the playground, maintaining their expenses for schools, Christmas and birthdays etc. You have to take time off from your work to take them to the doctor. A single parent has to do work of two parents. Most parents need an additional support but a single parent needs more of it.
If you work to support your kid, then you might not feel like you’re as good a mother as you would be if you could stay at home with them. If you do not work then your kid may not have food to eat or a place to live. Most single parents work from home so that they can take care of their child, but it’s not at all easy. A single mother can sacrifice plenty of things in order to support her child.
As child grows, his tastes become more expensive and you will hardly say no to them. So, if you are a single mother then you have to face lot of challenges.
