The Blind Side movie is based on the 2006 bestseller by Michael Lewis, The Blind Side: Evolution of a Game which is the true story of football star Michael Oher. The movie is about Leigh Anne and Sean Tuohy, a wealthy couple who adopt a poor and struggling teenager Michael Oher in Memphis, Tennessee. Sandra Bullock and Tim McGraw play the role of Leigh Anne and Sean Tuohy. Quinton Aaron  plays Michael Oher. For her role as a devoted mother, Sandra Bullock won the Academy Award, Golden Globe and Screen Actors Guild Award for Best Actress.

The movie is about a homeless black teenager, Michael Oher who is adopted by an upper middle class couple. Leigh and Sean met Michael walking on the road on a chilly night and invite him to stay at their house for the night but ultimately he ends up becoming a part of the family and is adopted by the couple. Michael is a talented football player and with Leigh Anne's encouragement, he ends up becoming a star athlete. She provides him the love and support he never got. The movie is a true story of a young man who was given an opportunity to do something with his life and he goes on to become a great football player and eventually joins Baltimore Ravens of the NFL.

Sandra Bullock plays the role of Leigh Ann perfectly as a mother who takes in a poor teen. She is a strong-willed woman who does not let any harm come in her child's way. The decision of the Tuohy family to adopt a black teenager was met with criticism from family and friends, but it did not affect Leigh. She loved Michael as much as she loved her other two children and gave him a lovely home. When Michael shows his interest in football, she helps him which involved giving the coach few tips on how to use Michael's skills. Leigh played a major role in helping Michael excel despite his precarious childhood.

The Blind Side movie is about family values and the love a kid receives from his adoptive family. It is about Leigh Ann who invited a total stranger to live in her house, her eyes looked beyond the color of the boy's skin. Leigh Ann in this movie describes the true meaning of the word 'open hearted'. It teaches people that nobody should be judged by the color of their skin and inspires people to reach out and help others and make a difference in their life.
